Clan Rules

These are to be followed and will be strictly enforced, we live and die by these codes.

(Rules)

No set order for these Codes.

Rule 1: TRUST, HONOUR, RESPECT and LOYALTY.

These are the four tenants that are to be lived by when representing the brotherhood.

Trust: To be honest to your fellow teammates. Never deceiving and always believing a HoSc member above all others. We are not just a clan, we are a family.

Honour: To always have good feelings and uplifting behaviour towards each other. We are here to bring you up, not knock you down.

Respect: To accept your fellow members for who they are and abide by their personal rules. If someone doesn't want to be treated a certain way then respect him/her and don't do it.

Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Loyalty: This should be the most important thing for any Clan. We expect 100% commitment and loyalty to this Clan and that you be in it for the long run and not to be here to waste everyone’s time.

REMEMBER: The HoSc Symbol stands for professionalism from top to bottom.

Rule 2: Friendly fire.

Never kill or harm your own clan members without permission - only when permitted i.e training and silly banter (messing around) between members, but must be authorized between the members who are just having laughs, unfortunate game balances (such as death-matches), etc.

Rule 3: Teamwork and Communication.

Communication: To be a highly successful clan communication is very important it's what's makes the clan run very smoothly so if you don't have a headset or some means of communication it will be very difficult for you here at HoSc so headset / Mic is required at all times.

Teamwork: Being apart of HoSc requires a very high level of teamwork and you must always have your teams back out there in the field no matter what happens your life depends on your fellow members.

Rule 4: No Racism.

The race, creed or religion of a HoSc member shall not be the topic of jokes (only as banta if the other party's are happy to play), cruel remarks or insults. Disrespect of any kind over race, creed or religion will be a punishable offence.

Rule 5: No Lying or Cheating.

Honesty is pretty self-explanatory. Don't do or say anything that even comes close to be considered as lying or Cheating in the game or in the forums.

Rule 6: No Sexism.

The gender of HoSc member shall not be the topic of jokes, cruel remarks or insults. Disrespect of any kind over gender will be a punishable offence.

Rule 7: No Discrimination.

Discrimination of any kind is not allowed. Whether it being gender, age, creed (religious beliefs), ethnicity, sexual orientation, clan affiliation or choices and skill within the game.

Rule 8: No Drama.

No drama or keep it to a minimum or there will be consequences for all parties involved. (If you have a problem with other members bring it to a higher rank).

Rule 9: Commander in Command.

Clan ranks must be followed at all times the higher rank online at the present time takes lead. (Note: The clan is very chilled and there shouldn't be problems with this)

Rule 10: No message unseen.

Do NOT Ignore important messages from clan members, announcements, clan news, events etc...  just reply a soon as possible with a possible reaction or a simple answer. Just turn on discord notifications on its easy. By responding quickly you're showing us you at least care about the clan you rep. Not replying to events will give you a dismissal from the event and you won't be involved.

Rule 11: No Disrespect towards leaders / higher ranks.

This is a major no-no. If you disrespect an appointed high ranking member, it will be a punishable offence. Maybe a more severe punishment including banned or termination.

Rule 12: Gamer Tags.

If you wish to change your name on your console (Gamer Tag) you must be aware that this is 100% your choice so please if you're not happy doing this then you simply don't have to. It is not mandatory for you to have it changed and you will still be a part of this family.

But you must know to make it higher in the ranks past category lieutenant a Gamer Tag change will be required but only if you want to go further in rank.

Rules 13: in-game clan tags.

All members of HoSc are REQUIRED to wear the HoSc (HAND on GTA5) clan tag at all time in game. Most games allow for four characters at the beginning of the gamer tag and HoSc will be standard. Furthermore, all HoSc members are REQUIRED to list clan tag: HoSc, Clan name: Hand of Shadows clan and your current rank within your bio on XBOX. This is so that it makes it easier to identify the members of HoSc from your many friends on Xbox.

Rule 14: Game Activity.

Being Active is very important, at least 2 to 3 times per week is a requirement and if you cannot make it online just inform a member who can pass the message on so that we can understand your absence. Clan communication is very important here people.

Rule 15: Rotation.

GTA 5 Rule and other games Similar.

GTA 5 is an example.

Rotation rank order first: collections and disruptions, heists, CEO and MC, This is so the clan can do more together instead of doing his/her own thing in GTA and being lost. This will bring us together as a clan and more active as a clan.

This falls on rank, for example, we refill the higher ranks business first then once done it follows to the next highest but if there are 2 ranks the same it falls to the members with the most businesses first or in heists order most senior.

Rule 16: Rage Quitting.

Rage Quitting is expressly prohibited. If you leave in the middle of the game (battles, CVCs etc..) because your mad at it, mad at someone, mad at a hacker or mad in general, unless it has to do with personal life such as wife, kids, puking your guts out, or anything equally or more serious,  then you are a rage quitter.

Rule 17: Recruiting.

Recruiting for HoSc is done by Representatives of the clan. Whoever recruited the new member will be their mentor and will train them up to the ranks of Warrior within the category rank of muscle.

However, if an individual recruiter is overly recruiting and can't handle his/her income of new recruits then they have their own right to pass off their recruits to other mentors who may be struggling to recruit.

Recruiting friends is prohibited but a fellow representative or higher can recruit your friend for you but it will not go towards the recruitment efforts of the individual who recruited the member who is the friend. Why can't you recruit your friend you may ask well it's to prevent easy ranking for no reason and to get the friend involved more with or without you. Helps the clan be more active together.

Rule 18: Mentoring.

Must follow the guidelines of mentoring to the description (take your time and don't rush through it. do it to the letter).

Rule 19: Promotion and demotions.

The promotion will go on your clan performance and how much and what you do for the clan as well as how much you promote the clan and raise the banner proudly.

Demotions can easily be given out for multiple reasons.

Inactive - every week you miss you will face a demotion and if you are demoted all the way to recruit you will be dismissed. If you know you'll miss the weekend of that week please inform someone with the rank representative or higher it's important you do this or you'll be demoted for missing the week.

(most clan members are active on weekends so try to make it then to avoid demotions or inform us why you can't make it by the Sunday. You will be demoted without any warning as its only fair because you failed to inform us of your absence)

If you continue to fail to be active over a period of time then even with you informing us then you'll be classified as an inactive member and may lose your position within the clan.

HoSc Punishments.

Rule Breaking is a no, demotions are certain.

1 Rule Break: Verbal Warning.

2 Rule Breaks: Suspension, meaning, not allowed to join in on clan activities or party's or converse with HoSc for the time allotted by the leader. If you do try to force your way into playing, you will be removed from HoSc.

3 Rule Breaks: HoSc Leadership tribunal sentencing. If found guilty of all 3 broken rules, you will be terminated and possibly banned depending on the severity of the broken rules.

The following will result in automatic suspension:

Not Setting Clan tags in games.

Disrespect towards fellow clan members.

Hacking or Cheating.

Redeeming yourself: If you were convicted falsely and can provide substantial proof while suspended you may bring this to the HoSc leader who has carried out your punishment.

If you were banned from HoSc, you must get the approval of every HoSc member and leaders to remove the banning. Once removed you are on termination status and will have a chance to reapply after 1 month.

If you are blacklisted you can not rejoinder HoSc and there is no way around it.

Blacklisting only happens in the most extreme cases and require approval from all leaders.

Reason for rules: these rules may be harsh but they are very East to follow. If you break them. It simply states that you do not have Trust, Honour, or Respect.
